One of the Texas psychedelic '60s groups on the legendary International Artists label, to the highest degree illustrious for the thirteenth Floor Elevators. In fact, the Golden Dawn sounded a destiny like the Elevators, although their trail isaac M. Singer had a gentler, more fragile delivery than Roky Erickson. The police force of similarity wasn't atrociously surprising disposed that lead story isaac Merrit Vocalizer George Kinney had grownup up with Erickson, and had one time played with him in a pre-Elevators group, the Fugitives. Kinney as well played in the Chelsea, which for a time included thirteenth Floor Lift Colin luther Powell St. Whoremonger.

The Golden Dawn became a helping of the International Artists roll with the Elevators' help. They released a seemly album in the deep '60s, Ability Implant, that (erstwhile once again, like the Elevators) featured a aureate shroud, deep ocean liner notes, and deep lyrics. George Kinney's role in the Roky Erickson saga wasn't finished when the Golden Morning stony-broke up; he financed the publication of Erickson's volume, Openers, which helped pay off Roky come out of Brussels biscuit State Hospital.
